Feeling for Wood is an international forum for wood architecture and design in wood. Organised in Lahti, Finland, the conference was held in September 2012 for the first time. The conference, held at the wooden Sibeliustalo concert hall, gathers the internationally recognised designers and wood architects from around the world under its starry roof to debate on the meaning of forests for the design and understanding wood in and through design. During the conference the winners of Spirit of Nature and Asko Avonius -awards are also announced.

Kokoro & Moi is responsible for the identity of the conference as well as implementations from spatial elements to collateral. The upbeat identity inspired by the material itself reflects the positive attitude towards new perspectives on wood architecture and sustainability.
