Helsinki’s Slush conference, one of the largest startup events in Europe, is the premier event for Eurasian startups and tech talent to meet with top-tier international investors, executives and the media. In 2014, Slush brings together 10,000 attendees, more than 2500 companies, 500 journalists from over 60 countries, and more than 400 investors and venture funds worth more than 200 billion euros for the two-day event on November 18-19. Alongside the main conference, Slush organizes over 80 other events globally throughout the year.
Slush has grown immensely since it started in 2008, becoming one of the major events globally for entrepreneurs and startups to talk, have fun, score important handshakes, and change the culture of how business is made. Although Slush has grown from a 300-person event to become one of the leading events of its kind in the world, the philosophy behind it has remained the same: to help the next generation of great, world-conquering companies forward.
As the conference was growing larger and had moved to new area for 2014, Slush approached Kokoro & Moi to help convey the brand's rebellious attitude better and create graphic guidelines for all communications and marketing. This bold approach is now reflected in everything from the stencil logo by yours truly to the colossal productions on site created by Slush in-house design teams and various world-class creative houses.
